Our journey started with a horse—a golden, calm Finnhorse named Kuulas. Kuulas wasn’t just our first horse; he became the heart and soul of what we would eventually create. With Kuulas, we discovered the deep connection between humans, animals, and nature. His steady strength and peaceful presence reminded us of Finland’s rich traditions and the bond between people and their environment.

What began as a simple dream with one horse grew into Laenlammen Tila, a small family-run stable nestled in the Lapland wilderness. It was here that we honed our skills, learned from the land, and began sharing the beauty of our home with visitors from near and far. Ranch Kuulas is a working Finnish ranch just outside Rovaniemi.
We welcome guests year-round and share daily life with our Finnhorses.

We are a small working ranch outside Rovaniemi, where we live and work with Finnhorses throughout the year. Our riding takes place on forest trails and open terrain shaped by the northern seasons, using Finland’s native horse breed known for its strength, steady temperament, and long history.
We guide our rides in small groups and match each horse carefully to the rider’s experience. Alongside riding, we prepare meals at Restaurant Loimu in a wood-fired oven and are opening farmhouse-style accommodation in summer 2026 for guests who want to stay longer in a quiet rural setting.
