Ranch Kuulas restaurant – Nordic flavours in a historic log house
Welcome to Ranch Kuulas Restaurant, an intimate and atmospheric log-built restaurant in Finnish Lapland, just 35 minutes from Rovaniemi. This hidden gem, nestled in peaceful countryside away from the crowds, is a place where authentic Finnish food, silence, and story-rich surroundings come together.
Our restaurant is set inside a historic log building, originally a village bank built in the 1910s and relocated here log by log in 2023. The warm scent of old pine, the glow of the fireplace, and the quiet crackle of a traditional wood-burning oven create a cozy atmosphere unlike anywhere else.
Opening hours
Lunch served monday to sunday from 12:00–15:00 (during season)
Evening reservations available for private dinners, retreat groups, and company events
Pure Nordic ingredients, simply done
We serve traditional Finnish dishes, thoughtfully prepared from local, seasonal ingredients sourced from nearby forests, lakes, and small farms. Every meal tells a story of purity, simplicity, and care.
You can also enjoy a glass of wine or local craft beer.
Space for quiet moments and gatherings
The restaurant offers seating for 15 guests downstairs, with additional space upstairs in our attic meeting room “Ullakko”, ideal for quiet retreats, creative meetings, or private dinners.
In summer 2026, we’ll open a terrace facing the wilderness, perfect for enjoying long Nordic evenings or watching the Northern Lights dance across the sky in winter.
