Horse riding holiday in Lapland – Discover the North on horseback
If you’ve never been to Lapland, this is a gentle and magical way to experience it.
Lapland is the northernmost region of Finland, a land of wide forests, rolling fells, clean air and deep silence. There are no crowds, no rush and no noise. Nature sets the pace. At Ranch Kuulas, we invite you to experience this landscape the way people here have done for centuries: on horseback.
This is not a theme park activity or a fast-paced tour.
It is a slow, immersive horse riding holiday, designed for travelers who want to truly feel where they are.
What makes Lapland special?
Lapland is about space, stillness and connection to nature.
- Vast forests and open landscapes
- Clean air and quiet you can actually hear
- Long summer days with endless light, “midnight sun” during may-early august
- A strong, living horse culture
Riding through Lapland means moving through nature without disturbing it. You hear the wind, the hooves on the trail, and the sounds of the forest. Many guests say this is the first time in years they truly relax.

A Riding holiday designed for international guests
Our horse riding holidays are created especially for international travelers who may have never visited Lapland before or visited only during winter.
You don’t need to know anything about the region in advance, we guide you gently into the rhythm of northern life.
What you can expect:
- Small groups (1–6 riders)
- Calm, well-trained trail Finnhorses
- Clear guidance in English
- A relaxed and welcoming atmosphere
