It all began with a single horse.
In 2020, a one-year-old golden Finnhorse colt named Kuulas entered our lives. Calm, curious, and strong, Kuulas quickly became more than just a horse. He was a teacher and a guide. His presence reminded us of the quiet wisdom of traditional Finnish life, where every creature had its purpose, and every season carried its own rhythm.

With Kuulas came a dream: to build a place where others could experience the same connection we felt — the peace of walking through snow-covered forests, the thrill of riding under the midnight sun, and the joy of working alongside horses who are both companions and coworkers.

So we left the city and built a new life from the ground up.
In just seven weeks — in the middle of a global pandemic — we built our first stable, opened our doors, and welcomed our first guests. From those humble beginnings grew what is now Ranch Kuulas, a sanctuary for people seeking authenticity, adventure, and tranquility.

Our ranch is more than a business; it’s a living story of Finnish resilience and creativity. Every log in our buildings, every handcrafted saddle, every trail through the forest reflects the values we hold dear: sustainability, honesty, and harmony with nature. We honor traditional ways — from working horses in the forest to heating our sauna with firewood from our own land — while embracing innovation and responsible tourism.
